Summer Vacations

Greetings to all of you!

It seems now that summer is upon us, vacations will be a high priority with the sole aim of much needed rest and relaxation. Thus, for the next two weekends I will be venturing to the cooler north (I hope) and the carefree days of reading, sightseeing, and hiking. My idea of hiking is really walking around the block, stopping at the Italian restaurants, and returning for a nice nap in my cool hotel room. So much for rugged individualism! Anyway, I’m sure you will be in capable hands with Fr. Isaac and Deacon Ron and I’ll see you soon.

I’m sure you have seen that Cross Creek Blvd. is finally under construction and it will be around a year before it is finally completed. I was supposed to be one of the honored guests attending the ribbon cutting ceremony, but due to a brain freeze I missed the opportunity. I would just like to thank Mayor Pam Iorio and all those responsible for moving this project along, and I pray that we all will practice patience as the road is widened.

Well, that is all for now. Continue to enjoy the gift that God has given us in each other.

Peace, Father David
